Sven Lindblad, who returned to CEO of Lindblad Expeditions Holdings in July 2023, received compensation valued at more than $2.3m last year.

Lindblad, who'd moved to co-chair in 2021, came back as CEO following the departure of Dolf Berle at the end of May 2023.

Recovering from the pandemic, Lindblad Expedition Holdings narrowed its 2023 loss to $50m, or 94 cents per share, down from 2022's $116.1m loss, or $2.23/share, on record revenues of $569.5m, 35% higher than in 2022.

Sven Lindblad's 2023 salary for CEO duties was $187,500, while stock awards were valued at just under $2m, and he received a $133,737 bonus. Other compensation of $35,265 consisted mostly of health insurance premiums.

Former CEO Berle's total compensation was more than $1.4m.

Craig Felenstein

Other 2023 named officers include CFO Craig Felenstein, whose total compensation was $2.5m, including $461,167 in salary, $328,928 bonus, stock awards valued at nearly $475,000 and stock options worth nearly $1.2m.

As earlier reported, Felenstein will be leaving effective May 31 to pursue a non-competitive opportunity.

Trey Byus

Further named officers include Trey Byus, chief expedition officer, with total compensation valued at more than $2.1m, including $343,667 in salary, stock options worth nearly $1.2m plus stock awards and a bonus.

Benjamin Bressler

Benjamin Bressler, president of Natural Habitat, received compensation valued at $1.9m, including $200,000 in salary and a nearly $1.6m bonus.

Noah Brodsky

Chief Commercial Officer Noah Brodsky's compensation was valued at $1.2m, including $438,000 in salary, $450,000 in stock awards and a $312,000 bonus.

Lindblad Expeditions Holdings is scheduled to report first quarter financial results April 30, and its annual shareholders meeting is set for June 4.
