Blount fleshes out details of 'Two Nation Vacation' itinerary
After New Brunswick's Saint John earlier this year secured a deal with Blount Small Ship Adventures in the port's new strategy to target expedition-style ships for homeporting, Blount is now marketing four cruises sailing between the Canadian province and Maine.

2015's ‘Two Nation Vacation: Maine & New Brunswick’ is a nine-night journey between St. John and Portland on Grande Caribe.

It transits eight waterways along the Canadian and US border and the Bay of Fundy, which sports the world's highest tides and whale-watching opportunities.

Passengers can walk in the footsteps of British loyalists in Saint John; sample fresh seafood in Nova Scotia's Digby, nicknamed 'scallop capital of the world'; and explore the picturesque shorelines and classic lighthouses in Bath, Maine. Passengers will also be able to hear local music entertainment on board the ship in the evenings.

Departures are July 24, Aug. 4, Aug. 16 and Aug. 27.

Cruise rates start at $3,749 per person, with an early booking discount of 15% on reservations made by Sept. 1. Additionally, one-night on-board pre-cruise packages are available in Saint John and Portland for $200 per person.
