CMV says goodbye to Discovery, hello to Funchal and Azores
Discovery sailed from Bristol Cruise Terminal on Saturday for the final time under Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ livery.

CMV has been operating the All Leisure Holidays vessel on ex-UK cruises since February 2013.

Following Discovery’s return to Bristol on October 6, CMV will use Portuscale’s Funchal for the company’s two remaining 2014 cruises from the UK west country port, a 15 night Northern Lights sailing along the Norwegian coast departing October 6, followed by a 9 night Canary Islands & Maderia cruise departing October 21 and finishing in Lisbon.

CMV resumes cruising from Bristol in 2015 using 550 passenger Azores also chartered from Portuscale beginning January 26, with 11 cruise departures lined up plus additional cruises from Hull and London – Tilbury.

Azores will operate alongside Marco Polo next year for CMV’s ex-UK cruise programme dedicated to the British and English speaking markets and positioned as an adult only product (16 years plus.
