Costa extends in-house safety training on mooring procedures
Costa Cruises has developed a program of in-house safety training safe mooring technique, in collaboration with the Italian Coast Guard. The first course was held in June and a second session is scheduled for mid-October.

The next training session will provide young Costa officers useful tools and skills on mooring procedures and techniques, involving ships, tugboats and specifically pilots and crew members.

The June course, led by Frigate Captain Leonardo Deri took place at the Savona Coast Guard HQ, and included a practical lesson onboard Costa Favolosa and another on a harbour tugboat.
