Cruise Shipping to move to Broward Convention Center for 2016

Cruise Shipping to move to Broward Convention Center for 2016
UBM Connect confirmed its 2016 Cruise Shipping event will relocate to the Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center. The change of venue was made due to planned renovations scheduled for the Miami Beach Convention Center during the time of the annual conference.

'We wanted to keep the event in South Florida—the cruise capital of the world—and with Broward County Convention Center’s proximity to Port Everglades it was the ideal alternative,' said Christopher Dauer, Cruise Shipping Miami's brand director.

'Having the event in Broward keeps us close to nearly all of the major cruise line headquarters, which will enable the top cruise line executives, middle managers, buyers, itinerary planners and key players to have convenient access to the convention and exhibition,' Dauer added.

Further information about the relocation will be released at Cruise Shipping Miami 2015, scheduled for March 16-19 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
