Crystal Symphony to stage dance show, Elton John tribute

Crystal Symphony to stage dance show, Elton John tribute
Crystal Symphony's 10-day cruise from Beijing to Hong Kong on April 1 will stage two new shows: 'Rocket Man: A Tribute to Elton John' and '5-6-7-8,' a dance production with a twist on the classic song-and-dance shows of old.

'5-6-7-8' features the Crystal Ensemble of Singers and Dancers in a display of jazz, jive, modern, hip hop, tango, tap, contemporary and salsa dancing, set to exhilarating music and vocal performances.

'Rocket Man,' previously featured on Crystal Serenity, spotlights the talents of stage and screen’s Craig A. Meyer, who pays tribute to Elton John as he belts out the superstar’s biggest hits at the grand piano, accompanied by Crystal’s Galaxy Orchestra and Crystal Ensemble.

Crystal Cruises said both shows are staged with lighting effects and a floor-to-ceiling video wall that draws the audience into the center of the action.
