In service at last, Pearl Mist embarks on inaugural cruise

Pearl Mist - will operate in Canadian Maritimes and Great Lakes
New brand Pearl Seas Cruises, the sister of American Cruise Lines, has begun operating Pearl Mist. The 210-passenger ship sailed Wednesday morning from Baltimore.

Pearl Mist is heading north on an 11-night cruise to Halifax, with stops in New England and Nova Scotia. It will then begin a series of Canadian Maritimes and Great Lakes cruises.

The 335-foot ship sports six decks including an open sun deck, a dining room, three large lounges and several smaller ones including a library, plus a small spa.

All accommodations have balconies and range from 302 square feet to 580 square feet.

Pearl Mist is registered in the Marshall Islands.
