In storm changes, Norwegian reroutes Bermuda ship to Bahamas, sets early arrival for Honolulu
With dangerous Hurricane Gonzalo bearing down on Bermuda Friday, Norwegian Cruise Line is rerouting Norwegian Dawn to the Bahamas. Due to Tropical Storm Ana in Hawaii, the company will bring Pride of America back to Honolulu early but the next cruise is expected to embark as planned.

Norwegian Dawn is turning around Friday in Boston as scheduled. Since Category 3 Gonzalo is expected to pass directly over Bermuda, the ship’s itinerary is being altered to visit Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas.

Norwegian Dawn would have been due to arrive in Bermuda Sunday morning for a three-day stay at King's Wharf.

In the Pacific, with Tropical Storm Ana forecast to impact the Hawaiian Islands this weekend, Pride of America was to arrive back in Honolulu early—but Friday evening, not 2 p.m. as originally reported, since the is going to sail past the Napali coast.

Norwegian anticipates Pride of America's Oct. 18 cruise will embark as scheduled but ask passengers to monitor ncl.com for any possible changes.
