In an effort to help drive forward port infrastructure and shoreside development across Asia, the Cruise Shipping Asia-Pacific event taking place in Hong Kong next month will feature a one hour workshop on how ports and destinations should structure their terminal and infrastructure development.

Industry experts Bruce Krumrine, vp, shore operations, Princess Cruises, and John Tercek, vp, commercial & new business development, Royal Caribbean Cruises Limited, and member of the CLIA Global Ports Committee, will lead the one hour workshop which is open to all visitors and exhibitors with complimentary access.

'This is an excellent opportunity to engage key stakeholders within the Asia cruise industry,' said UBM Asia’s evp Michael Duck. 'By bringing the suppliers, ports and cruise lines altogether for this frank and open discussion, we are opening the door to infrastructure development and opportunity for economic growth within the region.'

Cruise Shipping Asia-Pacific 2014 is being held on November 20-21 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. It is organized by UBM exclusively supported by Cruise Lines International Association and the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association. Official event partner is Hong Kong Tourism Board.
