More cruise ships for American Samoa
In December last year we reported that American Samoa would have 18 cruise ship visits in 2014.

Now David Vaeafe, executive director of the American Samoa Visitors Bureau, has announced that two additional cruise ships will visit Pago Pago later this year.

This brings the total of 2014 cruise ship visits to 20, compared to 16 in 2013.

The additions are Holland America Line’s Volendam, arriving on October 10 and Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ Seven Seas Mariner which will make her maiden call on December 24.

Volendam will be on a 22-night voyage from Los Angeles to Sydney and Seven Seas Mariner, which will be the last cruise ship to visit Pago Pago this year, is making an 18-night voyage from Papeete to Auckland.
