Seabourn touts youthful fleet for Europe in 2015
Seabourn is emphasizing the modernity of its three-ship fleet that will operate in Europe next year, following the transfer of the last two of its original vessels to Windstar Cruises.

Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest—delivered from 2009 to 2011—will sail to more than 100 destinations on nearly 60 departures ranging from seven to 24 days. With fewer ships, Seabourn's Europe departures will be reduced from the nearly 100 this year and the number of destinations will be down from the 150 offered in 2014.

The 2015 schedule includes overnights in cities like Barcelona, Rouen (for Paris), Malta's Valletta, Amsterdam, Leith (for Edinburgh), St. Petersburg and Istanbul.

Seabourn Odyssey will explore the Greek Isles, Turkey and ports on the Dalmatian Coast on seven-day cruises from Piraeus (Athens), Istanbul and Venice. The ship will visit such hidden gems as Monemvasia and Nydri in Greece, as well as popular ports including Dubrovnik, Mykonos and Santorini. Many of these voyages will also visit Kusadasi, Turkey, featuring Seabourn's included 'Evening at Ephesus' private classical concert in the ancient ruins under the stars.

Seabourn Sojourn will traverse the Western Mediterranean on a series of seven-, 10- and 11-day voyages between Monte Carlo and Civitavecchia (Rome). These cruises mark the company's return to Italy's Amalfi Coast. In addition, Seabourn Sojourn will visit the yacht harbors and islands along the French Riviera.

Seabourn Quest will begin its Europe season with a series of seven-day Mediterranean cruises between Barcelona and Civitavecchia, followed by an 18-day voyage to Copenhagen along the west coast of Europe. The ship will spend the rest of the season in Northern Europe, offering seven-day Baltic and Scandinavia cruises between Copenhagen and Stockholm and a pair of 14-day voyages to the Norwegian Fjords and the North Cape.

The ship will complete the season with a 24-day repositioning cruise from Copenhagen to Montréal, stopping at ports in Ireland, Scotland, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland, Newfoundland and Québec.

Many of these sailings include Seabourn's 'Marina Day' offering complimentary watersports from the ships' fold-out platform at some of the most scenic ports in the Mediterranean.

Following this year's transfer of Seabourn Pride to Windstar, where the ship is sailing as Star Pride, Seabourn Legend and Seabourn Spirit will be moving to Windstar in April and May 2015.

Seabourn has a newbuild on order for delivery in the second half of 2016.
