Videos air bloggers enthusing about refurbished Carnival Freedom
A new video series on Carnival Cruise Lines' YouTube channel has bloggers gushing over their experiences on the recently renovated Carnival Freedom.

The 110,000gt ship underwent a $70m update in April that added a variety of dining, bar and entertainment options that are part of the Fun Ship 2.0 product enhancement program, as well as the new Dr. Seuss Bookville family reading venue and Camp Ocean children’s program, which replaced Camp Carnival.

Taped during an eight-day cruise that visited Grand Turk, Aruba, Curaçao and La Romana, 'Cruising Chronicles' follows bloggers Caroline Murphy, Amanda Tinney, Carrie McLaren and the husband-and-wife team of Stefanie and Rick Fauquet as they sail with their families.

For example, Murphy, who traveled with her two young daughters and an adult cousin, raved about the new Seuss at Sea program and was selected as a participant in Hasbro, The Game Show.

And the Fauquets and their daughter went gaga over snorkeling, Camp Ocean and a family-friendly performance at the Punchliner Comedy Club presented by George Lopez. Rick also got up on stage as part of SuperStar Live, a karaoke activity with a four-piece band and backup singers.

Carnival Freedom is operating five- and eight-day Caribbean cruises from Port Everglades through February before it will reposition to Galveston for seven-day service, becoming the line’s third ship based year-round in Texas.
