Viking River has discounts for spring Europe and 2015 Asia
Viking River Cruises announced a new fall promotion for itineraries in Europe, Russia, China and Southeast Asia. Through Oct. 31, Viking is offering an early booking discount for all Europe departures in March and April and all 2015 Southeast Asia departures, with up to two-for-one cruise fare and up to two-for-one international air pricing.

The fall promotion also includes additional savings on a variety of specific departures. Passengers who book one of the Viking Longships in Europe or one of the two new ships on the Elbe River will save an extra $300 per couple. And those who book a 2015 Russia departure will receive up to two-for-one cruise fare and up to free airfare.

Highlighted itineraries include 'Grand European Tour,' 15 days, Amsterdam-Budapest, with promotional fares starting at $3,562 per person, and 'Romantic Danube,' eight days, Nuremberg-Budapest, starting at $1,856. 'Rhine Getaway,' eight days, Amsterdam-Basel, is also priced from $1,856.

'Portraits of Southern France,' eight days; Chalon-sur-Saône–Avignon, has a starting fare of $1,956, while 'Paris & the Heart of Normandy,' eight days, Paris-Rouen-Paris, is priced from $1,356 per person.

Daily guided shore excursions, port charges, Wi-Fi and wine, beer and soft drinks with lunch and dinner are included.
