Windstar debuts cruise-tours in Asia and Arabia

Windstar's first cruise-tours premiere in Asia and Arabia, pairing a land experience with a cruise. Prices start at $5,299, including the cruise, flights to the cruise-tour city, luxury hotel accommodations, excursions with an expert guide, select meals and transfers.

Travelers who book by Aug. 29 will receive up to a $1,000 airfare credit per person, free hotel and transfers on arrival, a complimentary exclusive Private Event on the voyage crafted solely for Windstar, and savings of up to 50% of the cruise fare.

The 'Singapore, the Malay Peninsula, & Myanmar Cruise-Tour' pairs four days in Myanmar, with visits to Yangon and Bagan, with a 10-day cruise round-trip Singapore. Highlights include a trip to Phwar Saw Village where locals welcome participants into their homes and share cooking secrets, using the market’s fresh ingredients. The five-star hotels are the Sule Shangri-La and Bagan Lodge.

For a limited time, travelers can receive a free hot air balloon ride in Bagan.

The 'Southeast Asia Unveiled & Angkor Wat Cruise-Tour' features four days at the temples of Cambodia, starting in Siem Ream, with visits to Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Tonle Sap Lake and Les Artisans d’Angkor. Highlights include a traditional Cambodian feast with a dance performance and a guided tour aboard a small vessel moving amid floating homes and small fish farms. This goes with a 10-day voyage from Hong Kong to Ho Chi Minh City. The hotels are Le Meridien Angkor in Siem Reap and Caravelle Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

The tour can be booked pre- or post-cruise.

The 'Wonders of Civilization Cruise-Tour' gives five days in Cairo. Participants will leave the ship at Luxor before traveling to Cairo to visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Highlights include a tour of the Solar Boat, the ritual vessel believed to provide transport for the pharoah’s soul to the afterlife, as well as a camel ride through the desert. This goes with a six-day voyage from Piraeus to Safaga, Egypt. Hotels are the Hilton Luxor and the five-star Mena House Hotel in Giza.
