Windstar Cruises unveiled a new logo and brand insignia as the company revamps its marketing communications in preparation for a more diversified fleet.

Joining its trio of sail-assisted yachts next week is the first of three Seabourn motor yachts.

'We wanted a refreshed look that keeps pace with the company as we enter into a new era of growth as the market leader in small ship cruising, yet still reflects our heritage of sailing,' said Hans Birkholz, president and CEO of Windstar.

The company will also launch a new website in June.

Seabourn Pride was handed over to Windstar April 17 and is due to be renamed Star Pride at a May 5 ceremony in Barcelona.
