Life’s suite on Mein Schiff 3
STX Finland Cabins Oy in Piikkiö, a subsidiary of STX Finland, has started production of cabins for Mein Schiff 3.

Over 80% of the ship will sport balcony cabins and TUI Cruises is expanding the range of cabin categories on its latest ship delivering in spring 2014.

There are three different ‘spacious and friendly’ family cabins, says ceo Richard J. Vogel, beginning with a balcony cabin up to a new deluxe family cabin for up to six people.

‘Sized at 42sq mtr with a 47sq mtr veranda this family cabin is like a small apartment providing plenty of space,’ says Vogel. All family cabins on the three Mein Schiff vessels are equipped with Xbox game consoles.

For larger and extended families there is an opportunity to book up to three adjacent cabins where the balconies can be connected together, providing common space. Groups buying at least two adjoining cabins can book the holiday home package, which includes a BBQ on the balcony and a 'personal' chef to prepare fresh dishes from the grill.

Spa balcony cabins provide direct access to the spa. A spa package as part of the ticket price includes a massage for two persons.

The 54sq mtr captain’s suite, located close to the bridge is the largest suite on Mein Schiff 3, and includes a walk-in closet.

All cabins have an Nespresso coffee machine.
