Alex is the son of Pericles Panagopulos, the Greek shipping magnate and founder of Royal Cruise Line, SuperFast Ferries and other shipping companies.

EasyCruiseOne

Haji-Ioannou launched a no-frills cruise line in 2005, operating 4,100gt EasyCruiseOne in the Mediterranean. The line was sold to Hellenic Seaways in 2009, and the ship has since been scrapped.
