Southern chefs Dickie Brennan and Regina Charboneau and bourbon historian Michael Veach will accompany a bourbon-themed cruise at American Queen Voyages.

They'll be aboard the Aug. 21 American Countess sailing.

Southern culinary legend Brennan is the chef-owner of Bourbon House, a New Orleans landmark since 2002. Today, Dickie Brennan & Co. includes four restaurants in the city's French Quarter: Bourbon House, Palace Cafe, Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse, and Tableau.

Charboneau is a restaurateur and cookbook author who serves as American Queen Voyages' culinary ambassador. Known as the 'Biscuit Queen of Natchez,' she formerly owned Regina’s at the Regis and Biscuits & Blues in San Francisco and Natchez.

Veach is widely recognized as the foremost authority on bourbon history. He is the former Filson Historical Society bourbon historian and was inducted into the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame in 2006. He has written and contributed to five books on the whiskey.

The bourbon cruise will feature interactive demonstrations and an informal question and answer session with the chefs.
