Star Pride transformed by Trimline
Trimline, Southampton-based marine interior refit specialists, completed a two-week refurbishment of Windstar Cruises’ 438ft power yacht, Star Pride.

Trimline travelled to Barcelona with a team of 60 personnel to complete the extensive refit before its inaugural voyage on May 5.

The Compass Rose lounge was renovated to become a stylish and relaxing space. A new half-height wall was installed and the ceiling painted, Amtico flooring was laid with a unique compass rose central design, and bespoke shutters were fitted.

Banquette seating was fitted and placed alongside stylish and contemporary loose seats. The bar and casino were refreshed and new TV’s and lights were installed.

The Yacht Club lounge was regenerated with a dark walnut and navy blue colour scheme. A luxurious nautical-style rug became the central focus, around curved walnut bookcases with widescreen TV’s inset, encasing structural steel columns.

One hundred suites and six owner suites have been re-styled with new carpets, curtains, pillows, scatter and lumbar cushions. New headboards and bulkhead lights were installed along with new light switches. Owner Suites were also fitted with new dining tables and chairs, arm chairs, sofas and oceanair blinds completed the look.

Star Pride’s Star Bar on the top deck was also regenerated with an extensive cosmetic overhaul and cosmetic work was done to the AmphorA restaurant replacing lighting and mirrors, curtains and chairs.
