This impacts six cruises: Adventure of the Seas' March 15 sailing, Mariner of the Seas (March 16), Oasis of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas and Explorer of the Seas (March 17) and Grandeur of the Seas (March 18).
'Our global security and intel team is closely monitoring the evolving situation in Haiti, and in an abundance of caution, we are temporarily making adjustments to sailings visiting Labadee,' a Royal Caribbean Group spokesperson said. 'We will continue to monitor and reassess calls as needed, and will communicate updates with guests directly.'
Changes vary by sailing
Adventure of the Seas will be adding a stop at Grand Turk, Mariner of the Seas will visit Nassau, and Oasis of the Seas will add a sea day with the call at Falmouth (Jamaica) adjusted to 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Symphony of the Seas also will have a sea day, with the ship's Falmouth visit revised to 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Explorer of the Seas and Grandeur of the Seas added Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Labadee, located on a peninsula in northern Haiti, is open only to Royal Caribbean passengers and employees, and has private security on site.
